After weeks of wiggling, she finally lost her first tooth. And by lost, I mean she ripped it straight out of her mouth. Seriously, she is one tough kid. I don't think I have ever seen her so excited. But, sometimes excitement turns to tragedy. As she was rinsing off her tooth (like 5 seconds after she pulled it) it went down the drain. I am pretty sure I have never heard her cry with such complete and utter heartbreak before that moment, it was the saddest thing I have ever heard. Like the sound of a puppy being kicked, but worse. So she left a note for the toothfairy.
Fortunately, the toothfairy still came and left a trail of pixie dust from the window to the bed. And $2. Funny thing about that $2 though, Aliz was sleeping in Bella's room that night and somehow Aliz ended up with $1 clenched in her little fist in the middle of the night, so Bella thinks the toothfairy brought $1. And rather than start a fight, I am going to just let her think that. Nothing good can come of revealing the thief's identity, I am sure.

that is so sad and cute! good think aliz didn't get a hold of both dollars! that would be really messy.
the tooth fairy is a bit more generous at your house than at ours. and she leaves pixie dust? too cute! i love the note. did we show you the note madeleine wrote to the tooth fairy? it's hilarious, and definitely a keeper!
Oh! I want to see a picture of the toothless grin. Congrats Bella. Love, Grandma
sad story. at least the tooth fairy only has to live up to leaving one dollar from now on!
